WHAT'S NEW? What’s new at Bearpaw? Well, the first
and most obvious thing that is new at Bearpaw is our
website. This past winter season, with the help of
Brett
Rodli at Rodli Web Strategies, we completely updated and
improved the website. Our previous website, although it was
very cool, needed to be overhauled… So here we are with our
new and improved online appearance! Please take a moment to
look around- we have tons of new photos in the
PHOTO
GALLERY, have all of our guides presented in the OUR GUIDES
page, and have many more cool additions. Check it out!
This winter we have made a few new additions to our
Bearpaw Operations... We have purchased some new, super
comfortable life jackets, have bought a new boat trailer,
and have obtained some new tents for our camp/lunch spot.
Each year our operations continue to get better and better!
The 2012 river season is coming right up! Here we go
again. I would encourage anyone who has been thinking about
running the Lochsa to call us up and make your
reservation... The Lochsa is about the coolest thing I can
imagine to do in Western Montana or North Central Idaho. Now
is the time to reserve your launch date with our office.
Experience all the thrills and excitement. Come and get it!
Actually many of you already have called us up for your 2012
trip dates (Thank You). For those of you that have not, we
still have many excellent dates available. We can’t wait to
get out there and get after it!
Guide Training Weekend! Our annual Guide Training
Workshop is again in the schedule- specific dates are not
scheduled but it is likely that the workshop will take place
sometime in mid April. The weekend is always a lot of fun
and is also a great place to get back into river shape- both
physically and mentally. It is definitely a 'hands-on”
event– everyone will have the chance to guide some rafts,
swim some whitewater, throw some rescue ropes, and take part
in many other guiding skills. A heavy and detailed workbook
will be provided to each guide. The workbook contains
everything that you will need to become a savvy Bearpaw
River Rat and a fully licensed Idaho river guide. For more
information see the GUIDE TRAINING page of the website or
call Justin at 406.543.0988. |
