2008 Lochsa River Schedule We have launch dates every weekend, April-July. All you need to do is pick a trip date and let us know your selection. We will lead you through the reservation process from there. If you are taking a trip alone or with a small group, we will just combine your reservation with others and "build" a full trip. If you already have a full group (around 12 people) we will simply add your trip to the schedule and begin to make arrangements. Act early to reserve your spot! Charter trips are available upon request- we will accommodate any group. Group discounts begin at 12 people. Unfortunately, people under the age of 16 are not usually allowed to participate in Bearpaw River Expeditions, Lochsa River trips. However, under special situations (late season/low water) exceptions may be made. 2008 Prices One-Day Trips Weekdays- $105.00 * Weekends- $115.00 * Epic One-Day Trip This is an extended trip that adds 10 miles and 14 rapids to the standard One-Day Trip. Weekdays- $120.00 * Weekends- $150.00 * Two-Day Trips Weekdays- $320.00 * Weekends- $355.00 * * Deposits of 1/2 the trip cost are required to hold your trip reservation. Final trip balance due one week before your launch date. Prices do not include 6% Idaho Sales Tax. Deposits are non-refundable. If cancellations are made prior to 30 days of the trip date, monies will be refunded less the deposit. If cancellations are made after the 30-day mark, we will refund your balance as soon as we are able to fill your spot. If we are not able to do so, we will not be able to refund your balance. In the rare case of a trip cancellation made by Bearpaw River Expeditions, due to extreme river or weather conditions, a full refund will be made of all money that you have paid to us. How to Make a Reservation Pick a trip date then call our office at 406.543.0988, 888.412.3900 or e-mail jdubb@bearpawexpeditions.com. We will check the availability of your trip date and add your trip to the schedule. Send your deposit. We will keep you on the schedule for as long as two weeks while we wait for your deposit. When your deposit is received, we will send you a confirmation packet that includes directions to our meeting spot, a guest data sheet for you to fill out, a packing list, an acknowledgement of risk form, and an invoice. Send in the remaining balance before one week of your launch date. Show up ready for some fun! Responsibility/Liability Bearpaw River Expeditions will exercise every care possible, but cannot be held responsible for personal injury in connection with the service of any conveyance which is used in carrying out this tour, nor are they responsible for delay, accident, sickness, loss of personal property, natural disaster or additional expense due to weather, disruption of advertised schedules or other causes beyond their control. Unforeseen conditions may necessitate tour changes, and the right is reserved to make such changes or withdraw the tour as deemed advisable. The right is also reserved to refuse to accept or retain any passenger on any tour at any time. While every effort is extended to ensure a safe, enjoyable trip, wilderness expeditions are physically demanding with inherent risks beyond our control. Bearpaw River Expeditions does not assume liability for injury to passengers or loss of personal belongings. All participants are required to sign a release form prior to their trip. Trips are physically demanding. We are not qualified to evaluate your fitness, so you must evaluate your fitness as appropriate to the trip. We recommend all participants have a medical check up and be in good fitness.
